Ivy House/Dorothy Farm - In 1901 Joseph Harrison moved into Ivy House with his wife. The couple later moved down the hill to Appleton where Samuel died in 1953. They were followed by Harry Winstanley, formerly of Dorothy Farm Stretton. He owned Roadside Farm which was managed by Eric Parr, and died at Ivy House aged 77 in 1985. The house seems friendly and calm, but will this last?
