Built in 1791 Belle Grove Plantation sits on the original site of the birthplace of former U.S President James Madison. It is located in King George County, Virginia alongside the Rappahannock River. Being a southern plantation it has a dark and beleaguered past. Stories abound of slaves being executed for their ‘wrongdoings’, (attempted escapes and even a failed poisoning). B&B guests and staff have reported encounters with solid form apparitions in period clothes on stairs, hallways and landings. Shadow figures, disembodied voices and faucets turning on by themselves in the middle of the night in guest suites and more. The Ghost Finders arrive to investigate this sprawling former plantation, inside and out!
